As part of the Defra funded NFM Community projects, The Trent Rivers Trust (TRT) have been asked to introduce Natural Flood Management (NFM) works which will complement the Environment Agency flood relief scheme for Lowdham in Nottinghamshire.

The Trent Rivers Trust and local groups are decorating your local brooks with crafty woollen decorations to attract people to visit and enjoy their brooks, and to learn a bit more about the wildlife there.

The Trent Rivers Trust has been working with a number of partners to develop a series of Natural Flood Management (NFM) measures in the catchment upstream of Southwell in Nottinghamshire, following extensive flooding in 2013

River Mease River Wardens were treated to an illustrated talk on wildlife by local photographer Mat Bingham who showed some of the camera trap footage he has taken on the River Mease.
